Our Home at 147 Tranquil Place

When our family started planning our home, we knew we wanted the peaceful feeling of country living but still be close enough to the city for work, school, and everyday life. After meeting with Benji Allen at Benjamin Custom Homes, we felt confident that our ideas and needs were truly understood. Together we designed a home on more than an acre within the highly regarded Red Oak Independent School District—a place where our growing family would have room to live, learn, and make memories.

One of the first things we chose was the stained concrete flooring in the open areas. We loved the natural look and durability, and it fits perfectly with the open living spaces where our family spends most of our time together. Because our family is growing, we needed plenty of space, so the home includes five large bedrooms, a private office where we can work from home, and a media room that has quickly become the favorite spot for movie nights and gatherings.

Our primary suite was designed to be a quiet retreat at the end of a busy day—a place where we can relax and recharge. But one of the spaces we enjoy the most is the large covered back porch. It’s where we often sit in the evenings, looking out across our property and enjoying the peaceful rhythm of country life.

Building this home with Benjamin Custom Homes gave us exactly what we hoped for—a beautiful place that fits our family’s lifestyle while giving us the space, comfort, and setting we always wanted, all within a short drive of nearby city conveniences.
